Bridal Tips

I now have my makeup line in a salon. I do many Brides, Bridesmaids, Mother of the Brides and Mother of the grooms or women just wanting to look great at a special event. These are the tools and tips you need to do it yourself. I have given many Brides makeup lessons because they are going out of the country for their wedding and they want to do it theirself. The last thing you want is your makeup fading away. Remember that flash from a camera fades your look so more is needed. The key to any great makeup application is blending. You should have a clean separate brush for this.
Brown, Green and Hazel eyes look great in Bronze and Mauve. The color purple well blended in the outer corners of the eyes.
Blue eyes pop with silvers and blues!
Lets get started!
A face primer is ideal to neutralize skin imperfections, dimish the appearance of fine lines and increase makeup durability. Apply over moisturizer or use alone.
Our recommendation... Retexturizing Face Primer
Using an eye primer neutralizes discoloration from the browbone down to the eye lid, thus giving the eye area a perfect canvas for true color as well as hours of longlasting eye shadow wearability without fading or creasing.
Our recommendation...Shadow Magnet
Foundation should look and feel like a secong skin. The more natural looking, the better. Oil free foundations with long wearing properties are great to use
Our recommendation...Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation or Photo Touch Mineral Foundation
Touching up is a must to avoid a shiny face. A powder without color is optimum, that way you are not layering color ontop which avoids the face getting too dark or muddy looking.
Our recommendation... Invisible Blotting Powder
Eye shadow that is easy to apply and stays on all day.
Our recommendation...SuperWear Creme Shadow
Eyeliner that makes your eyes pop and frames the eyes beautifully. Longlasting, stays put.
Our recommendation...Automatic longlasting eyeliner or Gel eyeliner
Lashes long and luscious. Tears of joy... No worries.
Our recommendation... Superwear Mascara - Ink
If you have any questions just email me and I will help you with color choices!

SMOKY EYES
This is probably my biggest request. Whether it is a model I am working with or a woman I meet. Everyone one wants to have smoldering sexy eyes. Lets make this perfectly clear it does not matter the shape or size or color of your eyes. Here are the tips, tools and products you will need:
Start by putting Super Wear creme shadow(any of the colors will work)on your eye lid. The darker the Super Wear Creme shadow the smokier the eye will be.
next, put your dark eye shadow color right on your eye lid, from your lid to the crease of your eye and also underneath along the lash line. This color could be gray, or blue or purple or black or brown or taupe or sny other color you like. Take a look at all the eye shadow colors I offer. There are no limits to your versatility If you have a nice variety to choose from.
Now one of my favorite products- GEL EYE LINER: Again I have alot of color choices. Black, Brown, Blue, Aqua, Silver, Dark Purple, Mushroom, Copper, Black Cherry….. You will need to use a brush with this. I prefer the angle liner brush.(see tools)
1. Put this Gel Liner as close to your lashes as possible. 2. Put the gel liner on the bottom again as close to the lashes as possible. This product is water resistant so the wearability is awesome!
Curl your eyelashes.(see tools) Yes it is not a fashion trend only from the 80’s…I have been using this for years and I use one on Photo Shoots every time I do a models makeup!
apply 2 coats of Black mascara
If you want, now is the time to try false eye lashes! I love them, they make the eyes pop. I sell Demi’s which go on the outer corners of the eyes.(see kits)
Enjoy your smoky eyes!!
